Starting with a card table and folding chairs in 1967, the Ken Nunn Law Office is reportedly now the largest personal injury practice based in Indiana.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — “Call me, it’s just that easy.”
Personal injury lawyer Ken Nunn said that memorable slogan at the end of his commercials. His law office announced his death in a Facebook postsaying he passed away the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 24.
According to the post, Ken started the Ken Nunn Law Office in Bloomington in 1967, starting with a card table and folding chairs in his first office.
“From that meager beginning, Ken was determined to build a successful law practice based on his desire to persevere and held a firm belief to always fight for his clients – regardless of the odds,” the post reads.
According to the post, Ken’s favorite movie was “To Kill A Mockingbird,” and that story – and book – fueled the fire to always fight for his clients.
“Ken will be remembered as a pioneer in the modern-day practice of representing injured people. Ken will be remembered for his love for Indiana University and for IU basketball. Ken will be remembered for the many charities he supported. More importantly, Ken will be remembered for the legacy that he has created and for the good he has contributed to his family, his employees, and for the tens of thousands that he and his law firm have helped for over 50 years,” the post reads.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Vicky Nunn; his son, David Nunn; and his two grandchildren, Katie Nunn and Jimmy Nunn.
According to the post, Vicky – who was inspired to become an attorney by Ken and has been part of Ken Nunn Law Office since 2001 – will take over the leadership of the law office.

In her own Facebook postVicky confirmed her father’s death and wrote “Forever Dad. I had no words yesterday.”
“We loved him so much and we looked up to him to guide us. Dad was ALWAYS there to help, give his opinion or just give a hug. Dad, you will be forever missed and we love you,” Vicky wrote in the post.
In an Instagram post, Jimmy celebrated Ken and said, “My grandfather was the most important person in my life. He made an impact not only to his family and friends, but also to the community.”
According to the Ken Nunn Law Office, it is the largest personal injury practice based in the state of Indiana, spanning statewide and serving all 92 counties.
