The Los Angeles Lakers are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Phoenix Suns in a Western Conference showdown.

Los Angeles enters Tuesday’s game with a 19-8 record after losing on the road to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.

In Saturday’s loss to the Clippers, LeBron James led the way for the Lakers as he recorded 36 points and four rebounds while Jake LaRavia added 12 points, 11 rebounds and six assists of his own.

Now Los Angeles will try to bounce back on Tuesday as they face off against the Suns in a tough road matchup.

On the other side, Phoenix enters Tuesday’s contest with a 15-13 record after losing on the road to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

Devin Booker led the way for the Suns in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 38 points and five assists while Dillon Brooks recorded 22 points and five rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Lakers, they have four players listed on their injury report, including both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.

Los Angeles has ruled out Doncic due to a lower left leg contusion that caused him to exit Saturday’s loss to the Clippers early.

With Doncic sidelined, Dalton Knecht, Marcus Smart and Nick Smith Jr. may all be in line for larger roles.

The Lakers have also ruled out Rui Hachimura due to right groin soreness while Gabe Vincent remains sidelined with a lumbar back strain.

After previously listing Reaves as questionable for Tuesday due to a left calf strain, the Lakers announced that he will return against the Suns.

The good news for the Lakers is that Deandre Ayton is off their injury report and will return after missing Saturday’s loss to the Clippers due to elbow soreness.

Suns Injury Report, Will Grayson Allen, Jalen Green Play?

On the other side, the Suns have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Grayson Allen.

Phoenix has listed Allen as doubtful due to right knee injury management and he is expected to miss his third consecutive contest.

With Allen likely to be sidelined once again on Tuesday, Royce O’Neale could draw a start in his place once again while Ryan Dunn and Jordan Goodwin could also have increased roles.

The Suns have ruled out Jalen Green as he continues to be sidelined with a right hamstring strain and they announced on Monday that he is expected to miss at least two more weeks.
