People Are Tearing Up Over Macaulay Culkin’s New Comments About How Brenda Song “Picked Him Up Off A Pile” And Changed Him For The Better

OK, so we all know that Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood.

The pair first met in 2014 while at their mutual friend Seth Green’s house, and later reunited on the set of the 2019 film Changeland.

It was around this time that they were first romantically linked, and they got engaged in 2022. They are parents to two young kids: Dakota, born in 2021, and Carson, born a year later.

This week, Macaulay appeared on Josh Scherer’s Mythical Kitchen podcastwhere he gushed about how Brenda has positively impacted his life.

“She picked me up off a pile,” said Macaulay, who had a notoriously troubled upbringing.

“I always wanted to do the family thing. I always wanted the kids and the whole works — I wanted that. And it was just starting to sink in, like, that is not gonna happen. You know, the way that I’m acting and the way that I’m conducting myself. Like, no self-respecting woman would have my children,” he said.

But with Brenda, he soon realized, things were different. “She saw the best of me and it made me wanna be better,” he said, adding, “I try to live up to her expectations, you know. I know I disappoint her sometimes, but I’ve never had that before, being believed in in that way.”

Macaulay also admitted that he was so guarded when he first experienced Brenda loving him “completely,” though he eventually found that it started feeling “natural.”

“I’m really proud of my life, I’m really proud of my lady, I’m proud of my kids,” he added.

Reacting to the podcast online, several fans got emotional over Macaulay’s candid comments. “Aw, that’s really touching. It’s nice to hear how someone can inspire you to be a better version of yourself,” one person said, while another added, “I’m so glad he has been able to find the love he deserves.”

“It’s nice to hear from a man who actually loves his wife,” someone said, while one more person added, “Every time a former child star finds happiness and love, an angel gets its wings!”

Of course, Macaulay starred in the Home Alone movies when he was a kid, while Brenda appeared in several Disney Channel projects, including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
