A suspect is in custody and children were found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Thursday afternoon for a vehicle seen in Columbia.
The alert was canceled at 4:42 p.m.
The alert’s location was listed as westbound Interstate 70.
The suspect vehicle included in the alert was a blue 2005 Lincoln Aviator with a Missouri license plate reading “GL7B25.”
Amber Alerts are issued to let residents know about endangered, missing or abducted children.
