The NFL’s Thanksgiving Day slate is tomorrow, and there’s some big news in the Dallas Cowboys-Kansas City Chiefs matchup.
Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens was listed Wednesday as a full participant in practice with knee and calf injuries, and he should be good to go for Thursday’s game. Pickens, who’s in the midst of a breakout season, was listed as a DNP (did not practice) on Monday’s estimated injury report, before being limited on Tuesday. Dallas will be without starting tackle Tyler Guyton, who hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, will be without Pro Bowl guard Trey Smith against the Cowboys. Smith hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury, and Patrick Mahomes will be missing one of his top interior protectors against Quinnen Williams and the Cowboys’ revamped front.
The Detroit Lions made a splash ahead of their matchup with the Packers on Thursday, with center Frank Ragnow coming out of retirement. It’s unclear when Ragnow will actually make his debut with the team again, but he is “in shape and ready to roll sooner, rather than later,” according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The New York Giants also got a dose of good news, as quarterback Jaxson Dart will be a full participant in practice on Wednesday, per head coach Mike Kafka. Dart is still in concussion protocol, but his chances of playing this week against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football are looking better and better. Dart suffered a concussion two weeks ago and missed last week’s loss to the Detroit Lions.

As for the Patriots, they’ll be without one of their top linemen against the Giants’ formidable defensive front. Rookie standout Will Campbell is heading to injured reserve with a knee injury suffered in last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, per head coach Mike Vrabel. Campbell is star quarterback Drake Maye’s blindside protector, so the Patriots will have some rejiggering to do along the offensive line.
And in Minnesota, quarterback J.J. McCarthy has progressed enough in concussion protocol to be a limited participant in practice Wednesday, per head coach Kevin O’Connell, but undrafted rookie Max Brosmer took all the first-team reps. The Vikings play against former quarterback Sam Darnold on Sunday in Seattle.

Hamilton, nursing an ankle injury as well, didn’t practice Monday. He was limited Tuesday, but he was a full participant Wednesday.
Jackson picked up a toe injury during last week’s win over the New York Jets, adding another ailment to a season in which he’s also battled hamstring, knee and ankle issues. He didn’t participate in Monday’s practice, however, he practiced in full Tuesday and Wednesday.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy will be limited in Wednesday’s practice, and undrafted rookie Max Brosmer will take all of the first-team reps, head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
McCarthy is progressing through the concussion protocol after picking up his latest injury during a loss to the Green Bay Packers this past weekend.
The embattled second-year quarterback has posted a meager 6:10 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season, his first somewhat healthy go with the Vikings.
As for Brosmer, the former UNH and Minnesota quarterback could make his first-career NFL start Sunday on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. returned to practice Wednesday, two weeks after he underwent surgery for an appendicitis.
In his two-game absence, fellow Cardinals wideout Michael Wilson emerged with back-to-back 100-yard receiving games. Wilson is now ahead of Harrison on the team’s receiving leaderboard this season.
Harrison, who also suffered a concussion in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts but didn’t miss any games because of it, has had an up-and-down season in Arizona.
His usage in the offense, or lack thereof, has been a constant talking point in the desert despite him being last year’s No. 4 overall pick, and he battled drop issues early this fall.
Still, his potential is undeniable, as he’s bounced back to make some incredible catches for a Cardinals team that has a laundry list of problems right now.

The rookie, whom the Pats selected No. 4 overall in this year’s draft, has been second-year quarterback Drake Maye’s blindside protector this season.

Roach has recorded 21 tackles and 2 sacks in 6 games this year. Roach missed the early part of the season with a Grade 2 calf strain. This is his second season with the Broncos.
