It’s not the only measure of a wrestler’s popularity, or earnings potential. But from the independent scene all the way up to WWE, merchandise sales are a key indicator of how “over” an act is. They also put a lot of money in our favorite independent contractors’ pockets, purses, and bank accounts.
Plus, folks love a list… even when we don’t have much data to go along with it.
We give you that context before presenting WWE Shop’s “Top-Selling Superstars of 2025” — in alphabetical order, just like it is on their website:
It’s pretty much the names we’d expect from WWE’s Fanatics-run merch operation. There are several notable stars missing, like past WrestleMania main event acts Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch (or any of the Horsewomen). Neither Mysterio made the cut, but Penta is representing for lucha libre despite only joining the roster this year. And in line with someone who’s always made a big impact in a small amount of time… AJ Lee just returned, and has only worked one program so far. But that was enough to get CM Punk’s life partner on the list.
