Do we have so many immigrants living in Portugal? A table with percentages to leave no doubt

According to United Nations data, Portugal's population comprised, in 2024, 10.8% of immigrants, a significant increase compared to the 4.4% that occurred in 1990, but in line with the global trend, where global migrations have doubled in the last 35 years. Still, the percentage of foreigners living in our country is far from reality in most OECD countries.
