Monaco predicted XI v PSG: Paul Pogba to start?

Sébastien Pocognoli has a choice to make in midfield. Denis Zakaria will miss out through suspension. His absence could provide an opportunity for Paul Pogba to make his first start for AS Monaco, against Paris Saint-Germain.

Pre-match, Pocognoli said that Pogba was an “option”, however he is not expected to start alongside Lamine Camara. That task could fall to Mamadou Coulibaly, whilst Jordan Teze is also an option, although he could also return to his more familiar right-back role. Vanderson’s return gives Pocognoli options in this regard.

The Monegasques also remain without Christian Mawissa and Eric Dier in defence, which somewhat limits Pocognoli’s options and could see him once again opt for a four-man defence, rather than his favoured back three against The Parisians.

Monaco likely line-up v PSG

Lukas Hradecky; Caio Henrique, Mohammed Salisu, Thilo Kehrer, Jordan Teze; Lamine Camara, Mamadou Coulibaly; Aleksandr Golovin, Takumi Minamino, Magnus Akliouche; Folarin Balogun.
